...add more and you got AION.

The graphics is terrible for a P2P. GW has better graphics and models. When the toon design is more complex than the game content, you know you have an issue at hand.

I just started playing a little over a week ago with a Asmos Gladiator on Triniel. I guess it'd be cool to find a dedicated group to play with, but it seems a little more difficult to form consistent groups on there than it is on GW. I'm only Lvl 22 at the moment.

I agree with the gameplay (GGRRRRRIIIIND) and content (GRRRRRRIND). Crashes? None, but that was after they removed gameguard. Before that, constant GameGuard errors. Gankfests suck, and zergs too.

But graphics are not bad. Unless you have a PC from year 2004, that is. Besides, it's pretty easy to make good graphics in a game where there are 8 players TOPS, world is divided in small zones and every groups has its own zone, so there is nothing to render once all your team members join your game.

I understand not to like some things, but graphics are universally praised as excellent, better than AoC. Especially character textures and models. Oh, right, I forgot - how many models are there in GW? 2 per profession. There are faces, but they are mostly just textures. In some cases, hair, but there comes the thing with helmets... And headgears that just cut the hair, because it's easier to display.

Even PC Gamer UK which gave a score of 6/10 thinks the game looks, quote, beautiful.

Ignore reviews where someone compares WoW to WAR or confess that they didn't even get into the Abyss.

Oh, you are nitpicking about this.

Well, the way I see it:

People complained about AoC's steep requirements, but said the graphics are good.

People say that Aion runs well and looks beautiful.

Aion graphics > AoC's graphics, mainly due to the fact that more people can run Aion in High than AoC in High.

By that logic, Dwarf Fortress is universally believed to have the best graphics of all time.
